You're not the only one carrying this.
There are some things that get lighter when you say them out loud in a room full of people who already know without needing the long explanation. Group therapy is that room.

Our Approach to Group Work
Our groups are grounded in the same compassionate, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive principles as our individual care. Every group is led by an experienced psychotherapist or social worker, not a peer facilitator, unless explicitly noted.
Our groups combine psychoeducation, clinical insights and practical tools (such as CBT or DBT skills) with the emotional support of a shared community. We ensure that every group is a safe, confidential, and respectful space where diverse perspectives broaden understanding and inspire new solutions.
Group Counselling vs. Support Group
We offer different formats so you can choose what fits:
Group counselling is structured and therapist-led, focused on specific therapeutic goals, skill-building, and psychological healing. Members usually commit to a defined number of weeks.
Support groups lean more toward peer connection. The focus is shared experience, mutual encouragement, and validation under the gentle facilitation of our staff. Drop-in or rolling-enrollment formats are common.
Both offer real benefits for personal growth, and your therapist can help you choose the right fit during your free consultation.
Online Group Therapy
Group therapy isn't always feasible to attend in person, sometimes work, distance, family schedules can get in the way, or some simply prefer the privacy of joining from home. Our online group therapy sessions provide the same high-quality facilitation, connection, and skill-building, available to participants anywhere in Ontario.
If you're outside North Bay — Sudbury, Parry Sound, Timmins, the GTA, or somewhere quiet in cottage country our online groups make this kind of support reachable.
